Stroma is a much loved Victorian semi-detached house perched above the cove at Port Isaac overlooking Port Gaverne and its sheltered beach. With stunning sea views from the sitting-area and four of the bedrooms, the vista stretches out beyond Castle Rock across the bay towards Tintagel and, on a clear day, over the sea to Lundy Island.

This period home is ideal for friends and family of all ages with its relaxed and comfortable interiors inviting you to unwind and chill out from the minute you arrive. The large open plan living-room has painted floors and deep cosy sofas surrounding the dramatic marble fireplace, with the views creating a constantly changing backdrop. Old slate floors, bespoke kitchen units with very smart slate worktops and a ceramic butler's sink complement the large family cooking and dining areas. Upstairs, the pretty bedrooms are divided over two floors, all decorated in neutral tones and after all that sea air, a good night's sleep is a shoo-in.

Outside to the front of Stroma, a spacious deck will provide hours of coast watching whilst the terraced garden to the rear, givies you a choice of places to dine in the great outdoors. Nearby there are wonderful beaches and the surfing centre of Polzeath, and some of Cornwall's most popular attractions are within a short distance.

Stroma promises a holiday where you can forget the car for the duration of your stay. Port Isaac is very much a thriving fishing village, with shops, restaurants, pubs and fresh fish in plentiful supply. Just think how rested you will be after a week of waking to the sounds of the sea, a quick dip in the mornings down on the shores of Port Gaverne, followed by a brisk walk into the village to buy the supplies for the day.

You will be easily distracted by the enticing shops, whose wares range from locally-based stories about seagulls to flamboyant clothes and the temptation of great food offerings, in fact, celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw has two restaurants in the village waiting to tempt you!
