Beacon Top Bottom is a rustic little cottage nestled in the slopes of St Agnes Beacon. Ideally situated for exploring this stunning area of north Cornwall, this cosy little bolthole overlooks the owners' organic smallholding where they produce their own vegetables, fruit and organic goats milk (you may see the owners at work while you enjoy your morning coffee).

Steep granite steps lead up to the entrance and into the open plan living-room, warmed by a wood-burner and styled with eclectic fabrics and furnishings. There is a simple kitchen-area (the cooking facilities comprise a hob and combination microwave) and far-reaching views across fields and countryside. Stairs lead down to the bedroom and shower-room, and a door leads out to a sheltered patio (fully enclosed and dog escape proof) with a sitting-area covered with a glass roof.

St Agnes Beacon is a famous local landmark providing fabulous 360 degree views; along the coast from St Ives to Trevose Head near Padstow and inland to the windmills at Carland Cross. Beacon Top Bottom is tucked into a sheltered nook below the peak, with St Agnes village half a mile away. St Agnes is a bustling village with pubs, bistros and wine bars, art galleries and independent shops to explore.

The coastal footpath passes right beside the cottage and there are paths to Trevaunance Cove in one direction, and Chapel Porth in the other. The beaches here are renowned for surfing and other forms of wave riding with surf, paddle board and kayak tuition and hire all available locally. The sunsets over the coast are stunning with the sky turning every shade of orange, pink and red, that reflect in the sea and once darkness descends, stargazing is a must as the night sky twinkles with countless spots of light.
