This elegant country rectory, just outside the harbour town of St Ives, overlooks the ancient hill-fort of Trencrom and is set within the village of Lelant. Approached via electric gates, The Old Vicarage is the perfect setting for a special family gathering. Extensive, well-manicured mature gardens surround this beautiful house, with a number of terraces all equipped with garden furniture allowing guests to relax and experience the tranquility outside. The interior is stylish and the comfort unsurpassed. There is a cosy drawing-room for the children to enjoy watching television whilst adults unwind in the smart sitting-room with its large open fire and huge windows overlooking the gardens. The kitchen is a spacious room with original heavy slate flooring and a warming Aga, the ideal place to prepare a meal for a celebration. The bedrooms, three of which are en suite, are all on the first floor with views across the countryside and gardens. There are a number of steps up and down to the bathrooms and steep stairs to an area of the house with table-football which would suit teenagers wishing to get away from the adults! There is also a laundry-room, an office, a utility-room and a library within this stunning retreat, which has ample parking and a huge lawn within a walled garden. The location is superb with St Ives, Penzance, Marazion and Sennen all within easy reach. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
