Description

This lovely retreat for two is ideal for exploring the mystical tors of magical Bodmin Moor. Perfect for enthusiastic walkers, windsurfing is also available at Siblyback Lake, and both north and south coasts are within driving distance. Approached by a sloping driveway shared only with West Northwood Farm (1915) and one neighbour, and some steep steps down to the entrance, this south-facing detached cottage is tastefully furnished and boasts under-floor heating. The living area is on three levels, with steps from the well-equipped kitchen down to the comfortable sitting-room; the galleried dining-room above features full length windows, with wonderful countryside views. West Barn is a peaceful haven and the garden outside provides the perfect spot to relax and enjoy those warm summer evenings. Nearby Northwood Water Gardens are also worth visiting. Please note, although children are not accepted at this property, babies up to six months are welcome. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
