Brixham (.3 miles)
A classic English harbour town with pastel coloured fishermen’s cottages clinging to the hill in crooked rows. There’s a swanky marina complete with restaurants and bars, a choice of beaches and a saltwater outdoor swimming pool. The beautiful coastline here can be explored either by foot on the coast paths or by taking a trip on the ‘Brixham Belle’, which sails to Dartmouth, Paignton and Torquay.

Lots to look at here, but the centrepiece is the Maritime Gallery.

Brixham Belle Cruises (2.7 miles)
Day cruises along the coast and then up the River Dart or evening cruises to watch the sunset.

Greenway (3.4 miles)
A very pretty woodland garden on the banks of the River Dart. Arriving by boat is a great way to begin your visit.

Coleton Fishacre (3.5 miles)
A fine example of Arts and Crafts style architecture, with lovely Art Deco interiors. The gardens cling to the valley sides and feature a rare collection of exotic plants.
