The Round House is found in open countryside, just a mile from the creekside villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers. It is set on the corner of a sympathetic conversion of a group of Grade II Listed barns, with extensive landscaped and well-tended shared grounds. As well as a barbecue-area and a small games-room (table-tennis and darts), there is a full-size tennis court (please bring your own equipment) – so why not practice your serve on a summer’s evening? Or enjoy the walk to Stoke Beach (just under a mile) or the coastal path (see photograph). The house itself is light and spacious with a striking sitting/dining-room with the original beams exposed and stairs leading to a minstrels’ gallery above. The large kitchen/breakfast room is well-equipped and has a door out to the courtyard behind. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and the bathroom and double bedroom are upstairs. Close to several beaches and all the South Hams can offer, The Round House has everything for a memorable holiday.
