Tuckenhay is one of those hidden Devon villages you only discover by chance. Down a narrow lane perched on Bow Creek, this lovely cottage is only a short drive from Dartmouth with its several good restaurants. Even closer is Totnes, which has a busy weekly market, and there are several beaches within easy reach. One of a terrace of former paper mill cottages, Jasmine Cottage has a large terraced garden across the shared drive, as well as a pretty patio and steep, raised rear garden, accessed from the back door. The comfortable sitting-room has the original wood flooring and a wood-burner to fend off any chill in the cooler months (although the cottage has full central heating). Upstairs are three attractive bedrooms and a family bathroom. There is also the benefit of wireless broadband access. With all the delights of the South Hams on the doorstep, this cottage is ideal for a great holiday.
