Beautiful Lerryn village lies next to a tributary of the River Fowey, crossed by an ancient stone bridge and stepping stones revealed at low tide. Froglands is a welcoming detached cottage just outside the village in eight acres of garden, meadow and an orchard with a picnic table by the stream (please take care with children). With full WiFi access, the cottage is a real home-from-home. The spacious sitting-room has a wood-burner and, together with the dining-room and study, doors out to the garden. Upstairs, the light-filled accommodation provides a double bedroom with an en suite shower-room, while the three remaining bedrooms share the family bathroom and a cloakroom downstairs. A circular walk to the village, with its traditional pub and excellent shop, winds back to the cottage along the riverbank and footpaths – perfect for walking off that pub lunch! With other local walking routes and the picturesque sailing town of Fowey, the ancient stannary town of Lostwithiel, and the Eden Project all nearby, Froglands makes the perfect location for enjoying this lovely area.
