One of a terrace of 19th Century Grade II Listed coastguard cottages, with steps down to the front door and gazing out over Torbay, Seaholme is a welcoming family home. Berry Head is nearby and there are marvellous coastal walks. There is an enclosed garden and a small gate leads to the locally renowned open-air Shoalstone salt-water swimming pool. Guests can relax on the patio outside the back door and watch the nautical world go past (see photograph). Inside is a well-equipped kitchen/breakfast-room and a small step leads into the cosy sitting/dining-room with its Chesterfield sofas and ‘living-flame’ gas fire. A door opens onto the staircase and upstairs are the double and twin bedrooms, as well as a bathroom. Downstairs there is a children’s bunk-room close to the kitchen/breakfast-room, and a wet-room ideal for showering off sand after a beach outing. Brixham is a bustling fishing town and the harbour is always busy with boats plying to and fro. With the beaches and cliffs of Torbay to explore, Seaholme is perfect for a memorable family holiday.
