Rustic whitewashed walls, wooden floors and exposed beams retain character, whilst luxury linens, towels and furnishings including leather sofas, a king-size bed in the master bedroom and traditional afghan rugs provide comfort and encourage relaxation. The fabulous open plan living area has a cosy sitting-area and even a PlayStation 2, whilst the stunning kitchen has granite work surfaces and a large oak farmhouse table. The luxurious bathrooms have wood floors and tiled walls, whilst the beautiful second floor bedrooms look across the countryside surrounding this haven. Outside, a meadow solely for guests’ use is bordered by a shallow stream (again, please supervise children) and the grounds are wonderful for picnics and walking.
