Altarnun is a pretty Cornish village, found in a quiet valley and half an hour from the north coast. Tredaule Manor Farm is perfect for all kinds of holiday; bucket and spade days out on the renowned Trebarwith Strand, or surfing at Newquay; an off-season break exploring the Eden Project or walking the nearby moors or coastal path; sample a meal at Rick Stein’s restaurant in Padstow, Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen at Watergate Bay, or one of several welcoming local pubs. These three spacious cottages, all named after local rivers, are set in rolling countryside, with the Owners next door. Each has a patio and there is a communal garden behind the cottages, and a shared games-room on the top floor of the barn adjoining Ottery Barn (take care with the low lintel at the top of the stairs). Tredaule Manor Farm is wonderful – why not book all three and stay for a week or more?

A pretty stone bridge over the De Lank river provides an ideal picnic place, and is not far from the cottage.Stairs in the living-room lead up to the first floor bedrooms.The kitchen-area is very well-equipped.
 
Tiddy Barn is just right for a small family or couples.Why not buy some freshly caught fish from one of the north coast harbours and enjoy a leisurely meal back at the cottage?The stylish double bedroom.

Tiddy Barn is at the far end of the terrace and French doors lead out from the living-room to the patio overlooking the communal garden behind the cottages. Slate floors, leather sofas and cream kitchen units make this a most attractive room – just right for a relaxing break whatever the time of year. The stylish bedrooms and a sparkling white bathroom are all on the first floor. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
