Nestling in a valley, close to the Jurassic Coast, Barbridge Cottage offers beaches, walks and fossil hunting. Inland are golf courses, country houses and of course some lovely pubs. Up an unmade track (take care with low suspension vehicles), the cottage is open plan and on one level throughout. With access for wheelchairs, guests enter into the vaulted living-room with comfy sofas and a wood-burner, leading into the kitchen and dining areas, warmed by the two-oven Aga, and particularly cosy for winter breaks. French doors open onto a terrace with an ornamental pond and views over the Owners’ smallholding and fishing lake where guests are welcome to wander and meet the chickens, ducks, sheep and cattle (please take care with children around the pond and lake). The double bedroom has an en suite bathroom, leading through to the wet-room (also accessed from the hall), which can be used as a second bathroom. Both the wet-room and cloakroom are equipped with convenient handrails. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
