Which superlative to choose? Stunning? Gorgeous? Amazing? They all apply not only to the views from this apartment, but to the accommodation too. On the first floor of a wonderful Victorian building, Pentowan View looks across the bay to no less than three beaches, and the north Cornish coast as far as Trevose Head – it is fabulous. Closest is Newquay’s harbour, then Towan beach, followed by Porth and around to Watergate Bay in the distance. Huge windows in both the sitting/dining-room and the master bedroom are filled with this panorama (see photograph), extraordinary in any weather. The kitchen is well appointed and the bathroom and shower-room are particularly indulgent, featuring designer floors, sumptuous architectural details and a wonderful slipper bath. Wooden floors and high ceilings complete the feeling of luxury. Communal gardens are enclosed behind the neighbours’ exposed gardens where the waves roll in below. Within walking distance of the surf and the attractions of the town, but feeling exclusively set apart, Pentowan View is hard to beat as a slice of ‘lifestyle living’. Guests will leave clamouring to return!
