This converted former stables lies next to the Owner’s working farm, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village of Colyton with its shops and galleries is nearby, and the Jurassic coastline and seaside towns of Branscombe and Beer are a short drive. Views from Stable Tallet sweep across open countryside where guests can stroll for miles across green fields and also have sole use of the farm’s coarse fishing lake (not in the cottage grounds), and a fabulous games-room for hours of fun. The detached accommodation is spacious, with a downstairs double bedroom complete with shower. The kitchen/diner is also on the ground floor, along with the sitting-room which has an electric stove for cooler evenings and solid oak floors. Upstairs, the remaining three bedrooms (one with en suite facilities) are welcoming and light. A hot tub is set on the sunny terrace leading to the garden with access to the pets’ corner. This is an ideal location to explore the Axe estuary on the narrow-gauge tramway, or collect fossils from nearby Charmouth. This property has a private water supply (tested regularly). Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
