Set back from the main road leading to Land’s End, high above the village of Sennen, Sennen Chapel was formerly the last Methodist church in the land. Having been recently refurbished and divided into two comfortable dwellings, this fine building provides all the comforts required for a holiday in the far west. Detached, with a gravelled drive to the front and a lawned garden to the rear, which is shared by both properties, this is the ideal location in which to relax or take advantage of the many walks in this prestigious part of Cornwall. Sennen Cove, a short distance away down a steep hill (see photograph – not the view from the properties), is an extremely popular resort offering galleries, surf shops and some superb restaurants and cafes.

The Old Methodist Chapel has sea views from the living-room looking towards the Isles of Scilly and further views of Sennen’s coastline and surrounding countryside. Framed by stone-mullioned windows, the landscape is wonderful. Storm watch or observe the sunset – red sky at night, shepherd’s delight; red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning – you will be one of the first to know! The modern open plan interior is delightful, with two bedrooms and the bathroom on the ground floor, leaving ample space upstairs for the large en suite master bedroom. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
