With far reaching views from its gently sloping gardens, this cottage is a wonderful retreat from modern life. Set outside the village of Luxborough in the heart of Exmoor, it provides an excellent base with marvellous walking from your doorstep. The Owner is a country sports enthusiast and there are fishing and shooting prints throughout. In the main living-room, the beamed kitchen-area has a white Aga, a handsome pine dresser and a circular table specially made for the roundel at the side of the cottage. Comfortable sofas flank the welcoming wood-burner in the sitting-area, which has satellite television, sliding glass doors onto the terrace and open-tread stairs to the first floor (there is a conventional, carpeted second staircase). The separate sitting/dining-room also has a cosy wood-burner, together with an electric cooker in the small kitchen-area. All the bedrooms are decorated in pretty colours and have low, hand-made pine beds. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
