Berry Park

Accommodates 4 + 2 cots* in 2 properties | 8.1 miles NE of Looe

Blueberry is on the first floor and Elderberry is below (the outside area is soon to be landscaped).

Berry Park is a stunning L-shaped barn built in 1598 with stone from the farm’s own quarry and now sympathetically converted into two comfortable semi-detached holiday apartments and a home for the Owners who farm 130 acres of the surrounding land. The building is set around a large courtyard with a central stone-built raised planter with ornamental conifers and heathers. Solar panels provide hot water and under-floor heating keeps the apartments cosy all year round. A beautifully landscaped coarse fishing lake, stocked with over 3000 fish and fringed with water meadow trees, is a short walk away (fishing is available at cost), and 19 acres of managed woodland provides sheltered walks. Both apartments share use of a quarter-acre lawn adjoining a large hayfield, where picnic tables make the most of far-reaching views over farmland to the moors in the distance. Beaches at Downderry and Seaton, the fishing port of Looe, and coastal and moorland walks are all half an hour’s drive away, as is the maritime city of Plymouth.
