Rumleigh is in a magical setting. Dragonfly is on the left, Yellowhammer in the middle (with the roof of the Owner's home in the background) and an empty barn on the right.

Found in the Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and now a World Heritage Site, you will find Rumleigh Farm, a little corner of peace in a busy world. Situated on the River Tamar, Rumleigh feels like a world apart, teeming with wildlife, wonderful walks, grazing animals and space. Close to Dartmoor, Rumleigh allows easy access to both Devon and Cornwall and is a short drive from Tavistock, an award-winning market town, whilst the coast is only 20 minutes’ drive. Each cottage has a private outside seating-area and access to the fenced guest garden surrounded by meadows, woods and a pond to dip that net into, or sit and contemplate the world in the boat (take care with children near the water). There is a special play-area away from the cottages. The properties have a private water supply (regularly tested) and wireless broadband access is available.

The car park is up above the cottage but you can drive down to unload.The private patio is a real sun-trap.The well-equipped kitchen.
 
The kitchen is behind an oak partition.The romantic bedroom has a 5'6'' double bed.This is a very pretty cottage.
 
There are lovely views from above the cottages.The modern bathroom also has a separate shower.The mown path meandering through fields towards the river.
 
There is a lovely wildlife pond in the grounds.

Dragonfly is found across the courtyard and, with its own patio, is quite separate from Yellowhammer – although ideal if friends want to combine holidays. On one floor, the furnishings and decor are stylish and contemporary with wood beams and a gel-fired wood-burner effect stove, under-floor heating and deep sofas, which make this a cosy retreat whatever the season.
