Several unique headlands such as Clodgy Point, Porthcurno with the Minack Theatre and Land’s End, form the coastline of Mount’s Bay, home to St Michael’s Mount. They bound the geography of lush greenness that is the Penwith peninsula. Accommodation varies like the topography, with tiny fisherman’s cottages around the harbour at Mousehole, town houses with sea views in Penzance and rural retreats around Cape Cornwall.
The far west has a history of artistic integrity, the origins of its international renown based in the schools of art founded around Newlyn.
