Dog friendly in Somerset

Somerset has prime dog walking land over its levels, but it also has a beautiful coastline for sandy forays when the beaches become dog friendly for the first of October.

Somerset has masses of open ground and green space to let the animals run free, what with the Somerset Levels, Exmoor and the Quantocks. However it also has a coastline. Exmoor’s coast path takes in Britain’s longest stretch of naturally wooded coastline with its breathtaking, stunningly beautiful views at every turn. And further north there are plenty of beaches that will become dog friendly at the end of September.

Wherever you choose to stay in the county, we’ve got dog friendly cottages in Somerset to suit you.
